Introduction:

 

Panda Book Corner is a library project initiated by the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in coordination with Nepal China Friendship Forum (NCFF) with the aim to promote Chinese language, history and culture in Nepal. The program focuses on providing equal opportunities to all the students.

The specific objectives of the project are: 

  • To promote Chinese language, history and culture.
  • To provide the abundance number of Chinese learning materials.
  • To share knowledge -specific experiences from China.
  • To develop the study habit beyond the course book.

 

Outcome:

 

A book corner was established and 5000 books were provided to five schools. In addition, shelves were also provided for the proper management of the books. The names of the schools are mentioned below: 

  • Pathshala Nepal Foundation
  • Akshara School
  • Euro School Nepal
  • Bageshwori Higher Secondary school
  • Bhanu Higher Secondary School ( Durbar High School)

PANDA BOOK CORNER 2021

Panda Book Corner is a library project initiated by the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in coordination with Nepal China Friendship Forum (NCFF) with the aim to promote Chinese language, history and culture in Nepal. The program focuses on providing equal opportunities to all the students.

In the year 2021, the Panda Book Corner will be introduced in five schools. Among the five schools, two of them are Government school, two private schools and one trust based school. The names of the schools are:
