The Nepal-China Friendship Forum (NCFF) organized the conference “Transforming Nepal’s Agriculture” on July 5, 2024 at Silver Oak Banquet, Kathmandu. The event brought together policymakers, experts and practitioners to discuss strategies for agricultural transformation in Nepal. Key sessions covered policy measures, trade and investment, mechanization, youth entrepreneurship and innovation in agriculture. Hon. Barsha Man Pun, Minister of Finance, inaugurated the conference while Dr. Kalyan Raj Sharma, NCFF Chairman delivered the welcome remarks. The comprehensive discussions highlighted sustainable practices, youth engagement and the role of local governance in advancing Nepal’s agricultural development.
