2026: Silk Road Lecture Series on China’s Modernization Held at DIRD, Tribhuvan University
In May 2026, the Silk Road Lecture Series on “China’s Modernization” was successfully held at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Tribhuvan University. The program was organized by Friends of Silk Road Club Nepal with the support of the Nepal China Friendship Forum (NCFF) and the China–Nepal Center for Political Party Governance Studies.
The session featured Professor Yang Zhengquan, President of the Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences who delivered a lecture on the implications of China’s modernization for global governance, foreign policy and international relations. He shared perspectives on China’s development experience and its growing role in international affairs.
The program brought together students, scholars and other participants for discussion and the exchange of ideas on contemporary global issues, international cooperation and the changing global landscape.
