2025: Seminar on Promoting Kanchenjunga as a Trekking Destination

On January 26, 2025 the Nepal-China Friendship Forum (NCFF) collaborated with Sambirddha Pahad and Sustainable Economic Development in Rural and Semi-Urban Areas in Nepal (SEDRS) to organize a seminar on promoting Kanchenjunga as a trekking destination. The event brought together tourism experts, dignitaries and stakeholders to discuss strategies for sustainable mountain tourism, community empowerment and conservation of natural and cultural heritage. The seminar concluded with actionable steps to enhance Kanchenjunga’s global visibility while ensuring environmental and social sustainability.
