In October 2025, Chairman of the Nepal–China Friendship Forum participated in the 10th China–South and Southeast Asian Think Tank Forum in Kunming, China. The forum, themed “Joining Hands for a Shared Path to Modernization” brought together political leaders, scholars and experts from 17 countries to discuss regional development, modernization and cooperation.
