Seminar on Tourism Management in Nepal
The Nepal–China Friendship Forum (NCFF), in collaboration with Ningbo Polytechnic University of China, successfully organized the Ten-Day Seminar on Tourism Management in Nepal held from 2 to 11 December 2025 in Kathmandu. The seminar was inaugurated on 2 December and concluded successfully on 11 December marking an important milestone in Nepal–China cooperation in the tourism sector The program brought together 30 tourism professionals from Nepal and experts from China for intensive training, knowledge sharing, field visits and cross-cultural exchange. Throughout the ten days, participants engaged in interactive sessions covering key areas such as sustainable tourism development, service quality improvement, homestay management, destination planning, tourism technology, cultural collaboration and innovative approaches to promoting Nepal’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. The seminar provided a valuable platform for experience sharing and practical learning, enhancing professional skills and encouraging new perspectives to strengthen Nepal’s tourism industry, making it more professional, competitive, and sustainable. Meaningful discussions and collaborative learning continued throughout the program, fostering mutual understanding and long-term cooperation between the two countries. Sincere gratitude is extended to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Nepal, the Nepal Tourism Board, the Tourism Office Kathmandu, all respected trainers, speakers, organizers, partners, and participants for their valuable support and active involvement. The successful completion of this seminar further strengthened the warm friendship and cooperation between Nepal and China and contributed positively to the development of Nepal’s tourism sector.
